As you can see I am new here. I bought Ad Aware Plus back in July and it has been running fine until two weeks ago when I started getting "Access violation" messeges when I tried to update definitions. I uninstalled,restarted my system re-downloaded and registered the software five times so far. I have version 7.1.0.11. When the small Lava Soft logo bar appears and the percentages count from 0 to 100% it reaches 100% then the numbers start to go wildly up and down until they stabalize at 100%,I don't remember it doing this the first time it loaded properly.
I got this messege this last time..."Access violation at address 00290000.Write of address 00290000. Exception EAccess Violation in module lsupdatemanager.exe at 0028F000. When I ok the tab and the full LavaSoft page comes up, and if I try to run a scan I get this messege"Fatal Error. Could not load library files[Cookieblocker.dll]application cannot continue.
I am running Vista 32 bit.
Any help would be great.
