I have AA 7.1.0.11 on Vista Home Premium 32 bit.
After about 150,000 files (out of 2 million), the file counter in AA stops. The clock keeps moving.
The "Stop Scan" button is not accessible, due to the hour glass. I need to stop AA from Task Manager.
When I then try to relaunch AA, I get the messge "Core engine running."
The only way to relaunch AA is to reboot my laptop.
I would be grateful for any advice.

ZoneAlarm Free, Avast Free, SpyBot Search & Destroy, and of course Windows Defender.

Raziel would like you to reboot (or manually restart the service as described in many topics here) and scan then please inform us of where the scan sticks
