I just updated my free version of Ad-Aware 2007 and it kept crashing afterward. I turned my computer off, and when I turned it back on, it just sends another crash notice, then I cannot get ANYTHING on my screen except for my desktop picture. No icons, nothing.

there could be two problems here,

firstly, adaware 2007 does have a bug in it which is crippling the program, http://www.lavasoftsupport.com/index.php?showtopic=22364

secondly, there could be a problem with your system, but try the steps in the above topic and install 2008, run a scan and see how everything goes
