This morning my computer (XP) told me to restart so automatic updates would complete installation. Well that's what I did and during the roboot process a window popped up saying a fatal exception occured.................my desk top background picture displayed and that's it. Tried rebooting again and again with the same result. No icons, no nothing, not even the START button or task bar. I'm dead in the water! What do I do? (I registered as a new user on my work computer, obeviously I can't get email at home if my computer will not start).
