I just downloaded Ad Aware 2008 because I was getting a LOT of pop ups and I hadn't used by Ad Aware SE in close to a year (bad I know). Every time I try to scan, it scans for like 1 or 2 minutes and shows that it found many bad things, but they the scan ends, and the results table doesn't show any infections found. Can I fix this. I tried re installing as well. Once or twice I tried ending the scan early and then it did show the infections in the results but after I tried to quanrantine or remove them, it later reported that nothing was removed or quarantines. Help! Thanks

Download and install TrendMicro HijackThis
* Once installed open HijackThis by clicking Start > Programs > HijackThis and click the button labeled
Do a system scan only

* Click the scan button in the lower left hand corner of the interface and HijackThis will quickly scan your system.
* Once the scan is complete the scan button will now read save log. Click this button to save the log file to your PC. Once you select where you would like to save the file it will open in your systems default text editor. Typically this application is Notepad. Post the log here.
