I use Ad-Aware 2008 (free) and since shortly McAfee virusscanner. Today I wanted to update Ad-Aware, but something went wrong. Afterwards I tried to open Ad-Aware to perform a scan but it hasn't opened. So I decided to delete Ad-Aware and here I got a Error report again.
This report was:
An error has occured in Ad-Aware!
Component: TFormError
Message: Access violation at address 005B72EE in module 'Ad-Aware.exe'. Read of adress 00000294.
Send this info to Lavasoft...
Ad-Aware now terminates
EAccessViolation
I have no idea what this means. I just want to be sure that the program has been properly deleted? Is it possible that it isn't so good to have McAfee and Ad-Aware on the same computer? I do want to reinstall it, but I'm not sure weither that's a good idea.
