Please post your HJT logs in the HJT log forum section. http://www.lavasoftsupport.com/index.php?showforum=36
And please do not post your HJT log in someone elses thread. Please start your own thread.
For those who have already posted a hjt log, here. If you are getting help, then don't repost over there. Reposting over there now will just slow things down even more, and confuse ppl by double posting.
But for those who are wanting to post a hjt log, or plan to in the future, Please post it in the correct forum, as it will likely be answered quicker.
It is a different story if you post an actual Ad-Aware support issue and with futher investigation it is found that a hjt log would be beneficial to the one helping the user/member.
It is also very beneficial to the Lavasoft staff to post an Ad-Aware SE log, so they can compare it to help them with researching for future updates.
The reason I say this is because, the HiJack This logs must be read by someone who has been trained in reading them. They need to be a malware expert to help you with it.
Therefore, not everyone trying to help in this forum are trained malware removal experts, to be able to assist you with these logs.
They volunteer their time to come in here to help out and read these logs. They are not likely to go searching thru all the forums looking for ppl who have posted their hjt logs in the wrong forum section. Which can be one of the main reasons so many ppl's request for help with this gets overlooked and why it takes so long.
From what I understand LS CalamityJane is the only one that is LS staff here, that is a Malware removal expert in regards to being trained in reading HiJack This logs. But she is one person. She is doing a FANTASTIC job from what I have seen.
So I think it would be a GREAT help to everyone involved if everyone could try and post in the correct forums.
Thanks!
Skittles
P.S. I am posting this in both the "post your support issues here" and the "Ad-Aware SE" forum sections as it seems the majority of the misplaced HiJack This posts are being made there.
