Hi,

I know you may be very busy, But I have major problems, A few days ago I started getting these false messages about Ifections ect...I have downloaded Spybot & this seemed to get rid of the nasties, but now I can't even start Spybot or Hijack This or any anit-Spyware program, I'm in a terrible mess with this and hope some kind soul will get me on the road to recovery....

I'm not that used to this kind of problem, but will do my upmost to follow any help given.

Do you get any error message when you try to run HijackThis? Have you tried renaming HijackThis.exe file in HijackThis installation folder to something else (like something.exe) before running HijackThis?
