Brand new install and cannot open the application for initial scan. Receiving the following error message:

Message: access violation at address 00403423 in module 'Ad-Aware.exe". Write of address 00000008.
I don't know what I may have done wrong. I simply downloaded this application and have not been able to get the product to function. All I receive is this error message. Was advised to submit this information to Lavasoft support/support center.
