Hello,
I have a problem with my Ad-Aware SE Personal program. It will only run in SAFE MODE on my computer, and seems to get stuck around 2000 and stops scanning when I have logged into Windows. I have scanned with a zillion other programs for viruses and they have all said that I have none. Any advice from anyone out there as to what I should do to resolve this?

Thanks,
Crys

Do you by chance have Spysweeper?

If so, disable it and rescan.

There is currently a conflict between Ad-Aware SE and Spysweepers Webroot

Thank you!! I appreciate it. Now I am having another problem. I have lost my sound and it says that I do not have a audio driver. I notice that my sound was off but there was no icon at the bottom to see if it was muted. Then I checked my device manager and it says there is no audio device. How bizarre!

If you know how to go about getting an audio driver for XP Media Edition, please do tell.

Thanks again for such a prompt response. As soon as I disable Spysweeper, the Ad Aware ran fine!!

Try to see if it will find it by using your Install new hardware wizard.

Go to your Control Panel
click on Add New Hardware

See if it will recognize it. You might need to put your XP CD in, for it to find the driver.
