I have paid for AdAware 2007 and now ugraded to 2008 as requested. I have done this exercise quite a few times. Each time after the download is complete and the Ad Aware 2008 starts with the opening screenit goes through Done, and then Hangs on "Updating Definitions File" nothing happens, no errors. AdAware 7.1.0.10. If I reinstall 2007 no problem. I have XP, AVG virus and tried with and without firewall. I have tried various other sites for downloads with no success. I can't open Adware because the definitions screen opens first anf then Hangs.
