I have had an instance of one of the Virtumonde family of Malware infections and cannot seem to get rid of it. Norton doesn't even detect it. Adaware says it removes it but rescan and its still there. I know what file it is but when I clean up what I think the issue is with HiJack this, it cannot clean it. I have renamed, deleted the bad DLL but no luck. Can someone help.
I also tried combofix and it fails to install everytime. It hangs with and error that says 2008-08-23 is unexpected and thats it.
Line 02 in the log is the suspected problem!
