When the progress bar gets to approximately half way done, the scanner freezes and I would have to close it. It never completes. Can someone help me figure out the problem?

what os are you using? ad-aware version? other security software? where exactly does the scan freeze?

I'm using Windows Vista, Ad-aware 2008 Free. Only firewall I have is windows firewall. The scan freezes when it reaches about half way done. It freezes at the same time during every scan.

I am having this very same problem. I run on Windows Vista Home Version and have the Ad-Ware 2008.

I get to Deep Registry Scanning "InprocServer32" after only scanning a short time and it freezes. It will not complete the scan. I have tried uninstalling and re-installing the program but have the same result.
