Hi everyone. It seems i have made a mistake in downloading what i thought was a java update only to find out it was a malware/virus. Sigh~. I've tried going through different forums but all the problems seem to be different for each person. I have bought and ran spysweeper 3 times and came out clean on the third one but now its getting errors and automatically trying to restart itself everytime i run spysweeper and am still have the annoying blue background with the statement "warning! spyware detected onyour computer!" I cannot even access my display properties to change it. I would greatly appreciate it if someone could help me out. thanks.

just as an update i ran spysweeper again and got a Mal/hckpk-a and mal/hckpk-czt virus that failed to quarantine.
i also specifically sweeped O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [lphcj5oj0ej9t] C:\WINDOWS\system32\lphcj5oj0ej9t.exe which turned out to be a malware but spysweeper couldnt quarantine it so i manually deleted it by going into the system32 file but the problem is still persisting. the blue screen is still there and will not let me get into my display properties. thanks.

Another thing i should add that might assess the situation more clearly is whenever i run an anti-virus program. halfway through the scan, i get an blue screen error pop up stating theres an error and to press any key to restart. I believe the virus is somehow bypassing my spysweeper and superantispyware. thanks.

Hi again. spent all day trying to fix the problem and got some favorable results. I downloaded malwarebytes and ran it. Took out most of the virus but left some that cant be deleted. I also managed to get rid of the blue screen desktop that kept displaying "warning! Spyware detected on your computer" logo.

From where did you downloaded "malwarebytes" I do have the same problem as you (sort of).
