Full Version: Cannor open Ad-Aware

I cannot open my Ad-Aware program. I cannot supply the Ad-Aware version, as I cannot access it. It is a "paid" version.
I opened it, and wanted to scan removable media. I selected the media. I was then given options, and I clicked on SAVE. I think I should have chosen CANCEL at that stage? It just sat there for a long time doing nothing. I closed it down. When I tried to reopen it, I received an error message : "SYSTEM ERROR 1814". I also logged off and back on to see if it would clear, but it didn't. I am using Windows XP x64 Operating System. Maybe it thinks it is still open, as I have also received a message saying another user may be using it. ??
I would REALLY appreciate any assistance, as I want to USE IT !!!
