I bought adaware updated Pro...in May.
I renamed it dad aware, because somewhere I read renaming might prevent malware from slowing it down or stopping from opening ie corrupting it.
Is that true?
1. adaware often won't open. The info says I'm not connected to the internet.
2.) Sometimes, when it does open, the scan has taken up to 8 hours.
3.) Last night a scan did occur.
The file area of the scans says adaware has found like 488 spy things, but only 93 have been deleted.
The scan took about 2 1/2 hours.
4.) I think there must be something causing ad aware to be so hard to start, run so slow, not deleting problems etc??
5.) Any ideas what is wrong, what I can do to fix it??
