I have used Ad-Aware successfully for several years. Yesterday I installed Service Pack 2 and now Ad-Aware stops around 2800 items. I have uninstalled it and downloaded Ad-Aware again, but the same thing happens. Can someone help?

If you're running the latest Spy Sweeper - that is the problem.
Read the other postings about issues with freezing - there are many.
Anyway, turn off Spy Sweeper then run the Ad-Aware scan.
