I checked for new def. files by check for updates now, there was a new set of defs. I downloaded them and before running Ad-Aware I checked d/l with the authenticity add-on. It stated d/l was corrupt and should be deleted. I deleted this def. ref. file and went to your site and d/l update, I put this d/l into my file, ran the authenticity check and it stated file was corrupt. I finally took the old off of def.ref.old file and ran authenticity check and it was ok. Can it be possible that the update d/l on your site, http://lavasoft.com/ ,is corrupt? I would like to say you have a great product and I have used it for a very long time.
Thank you.

Hi, bxgy. As reported at BBR, there was a false-positive in the original update for Build 137 which was reported as replaced by Build 138. In addition, there was a glitch in the server. I suspect your update just got caught in the middle.

Is it ok to try and d/l new defs. now, please? I just tried it again and got the same results, I even did a complete system scanwith Spybot and Norton and found no viruses or security threats. Thank you.

[size=3] sad.gif The new update is not working with my Ad-Aware, it keeps wanting me to delete latest def.ref file, I've done this 20 times today and even uninstalled and re-installed program. When I go to open Ad-Aware, a window pops up and states "Your definition file has been compromised. Please delete your definition file and restart Ad-Aware". I've done this all morning, who's experiencing the problem me or Lavasoft. I miss not being able to use this program, it is one of the most helpful ones in my opinion.
Thanks,
BXGY
