Since I installed Ad Aware, the free version, two days ago my monitor has distorted pictures...mainly pink tones. Even the startup screen of the beautitul beach has pink everywhere. I am also still getting tons of ads. What have I done?

I suggest you remove AAW and see what happens. My feeling is that it did not cause your problem.
