I have used Ad Aware for a few years without problems until a few days ago when I picked up a virus. I think I have cleared the virus by using AVG and A squared but I am left with a problem that affects Ad Aware and Reg Seeker. Both programs start OK but after a few minutes they both freeze and Task manager shows them as not responding, at the same time CPU usage is showing 100% for whichever of the two programs I am using, could any one offer any suggestions please?
