If something's a threat, why would I not remove it, and how do I decide? Thanks!
Personally I remove everything. But then I am not a big surfer of the Net.

The reason why you wouldn't just remove is it could be a false positive. This is where google search comes into play and if you find something that alarms you. Then go to www.virustotal.com and upload it.
