Hi untra, any luck with this problem? I am not currently a customer (in the evaluation stage), and I've encountered the same problem multiple times. The sales team has also been unresponsive.

My colleagues and I are experiencing an issue with Ad-Aware Enterprise 2.0 in which it consistently loses its license file after about 2 days.

About three weeks ago, I installed the product and registered the license string. However, after a couple of days, the license information disappeared from the console, and all my clients appeared in red. I had to re-register the license, which resolves the problem. However, this consistently happens after about 2-3 days. Since then, I re-registered the license, but now it is happening on a daily basis (usually at night) and is extremely frustrating.

I installed Ad-Aware Enterprise 2.0 on a Microsoft Windows Server 2003 RC2 Server Virtual Machine, as well as an old physical development server, with the same result. Additionally, I have uninstalled and reinstalled the software several of times, and used different license keys, which also produce the same result.

Hi Raziel,

I have a unique situation. My organization used Ad-Aware SE before it was discontinued, for which we owned a site license. This recent change pushed us into looking for alternatives from Lavasoft, so we signed up for the 30 day trail for Enterprise 2.0. So technically, I have a trial license, so I can't sign up for their help.

Any suggestions? Most software companies I've dealt with as of recent have pre-sales support, etc., but it seems like Lavasoft does not.

I've sent you a couple of email addresses to contact the Support Team. I should think you would be able to upgrade your Enterprise version without purchasing a whole new license, but check with them please. Give them the info on your old SE license as well as the evaluation version you are now testing.
