If Adaware scans for viruses, should I uninstall the AVG free Now? With AVG doing scans, then the auto scan with adaware, then windows defender, I have them all scheduled at different times, is this too much? Conflicts?

Hi,

I would say no don't, unless you experience issues.

If you just use Ad-Aware as an on demand scanner then you should notice no problems, especially because your scans are scheduled at different times.

If you use Ad-Watch and AVG Resident Shield you may get conflicts, so it's best to choose which you'd prefer to use.

It's up to you really, only worry if there are problems smile.gif

Hope that helps,

Yea, it shouldn't interfere. If you are using adaware pro or or plus, adwatch's real time anitvirus scanning could conlfict with avg's real time. Other than that no. Your just fine even if your running scans at the same time. I do it all the time with mine.My Anitvirus, adaware and windows defender scanning all at the same time.

The only problem i tend to get when i do that is that it slows my computer to a crawl. Then again my pc is probably the wrong side of ancient nowadays.
