As previously reported here, definitions updates for SE #SE1R258 & SE1R259 didn't seem to work properly.

In my case, at least one of those updates affected AdWatch doing it's job, and other users found that both of those Defs Files failed to pick-up on Critical Objects during an AdAware scan. We reverted to SE1R257.

I can confirm that SE1R260 17 June 2008 does pick-up cookies via AdWatch:

I CAN'T confirm that an AdAware scan with SE1R260 will detect Critical Objects - because AdWatch is so efficient, that I never seem to get any...!
100 AdAware scans since January 2007, and only one Critical Object detected...! A couple also found by S&D.
But Eleventy-Hundred Million-Zillion cookies etc stopped by AdWatch though...!

Gelert, if you're so scared of cookies, why don't you just block them in your browser?

Since you have such an obsession with cookies, maybe you should change your name to Cookie Monster!?!?! wink.gif

Browser can't tell the difference between useful, and not useful / not helpful cookies - AdWatch does.
Browser doesn't monitor Registry changes - AdWatch does.

That would be silly - Cookie Monster is not the name of my Long Haired German Shepherd...

...although he is very partial to biscuits - especially burglar-flavoured ones... wink.gif

There are many things that scare me in life, cookies aren't one of those things (and wont hurt your registry either!!)

Cookies are a delicious delicacy!!!
