Hi all i'm looking for a little help .I have had Ad-Aware personal for a few years now without any problems at all,but as of today every time i go to run a scan my puter shuts down after only a min of scanning,i've run norton to look for viruses and uninstalled then reinstalled Ad-Aware, with no change at all if anyone has any sugestions they would be appreciated.Ops XP Sp2 the warning that comes up after shutdown and restart is system log-in error.

I have exactly the same problem. Downloaded the latest version, installed on my XP SP2 machine, run the scan and crash! Machine reboots. I have the latest XP security patches and also run NAV

Any help would be appreciated

If you have Spysweeper, disable it, and try again.
