I am having a problem with Ad-Aware SE. When running a full system scan, my computer suddenly reboots for no apparent reason. Before the reboot occurs the windows system tray and all of the icons on my desktop will disspear, then reappear. The reboot occurs at random times ranging from just after the scan starts to when it has scanned about 2000 files. When I do a scan that doesn't involve the memory there is no reboot. It only seems to happen if I scan the memory. I currently have some malware that is running in memory which I can't get rid of but I suspect may be causing the problem.

I have the latest version of Ad-Aware SE (freeware version). I am running windows 2000 with the latest updates and service packs on a Pentium III 800 Mhz machine w/ 256 MB of RAM. I can post a DXDiag reoport if that would be helpful.

Thanks,
