I've just looked at the Log for last nights Auto-Scan....:

SO... What I don't understand is, that in my Scanning settings, my selected options in Green have been honoured, but my selected options in Red haven't...

I haven't enabled the option to Skip files larger than 1048576 kB.
I haven't enabled the option to Unload Modules OR Browsers during a scan.

So does an auto-scan have a fixed set of rules, and my Scan Settings are only applicable to a Manual Scan...?

Or is this an issue...?

So... This was with a full MANUAL scan, with extended AV engine enabled and heurestics set to Level 3.

Same issue - my selected options in Green have been honoured, but my selected options in Red haven't...

I haven't enabled the option to Skip files larger than 1048576 kB.
I haven't enabled the option to Unload Modules OR Browsers during a scan.

Equally interesting...yesterday's Auto-Scan (Full) without the Extended AV engine, and Item Scanned: 216731
Today's Full Scan Manual with the Extended AV engine, and Item Scanned: 214653

...circa 2000 item difference, with what I would have thought was the more thorough scan, coming up shy... unsure.gif

Sorry to hear about your 2008 woes, Raziel...

MMMMmmmm...are you saying that YOUR settings and scan log are OK, or are you saying that my settings are OK and that I've misread the Log information on them...?

BTW...I just ran the AV-Engine out of curiosity...didn't do anything for me...no extra-warm cuddly secure feeling, and no magic cup-of-coffee appeared either... wink.gif
