get this message when I try to install ad-aware 2008. this system has malware Malwarrior 2008 infection plus others....what can I do to install Adaware??

You need administrator privileges to install it or your administrator can install it and check "for anyone who uses computer" box when installing.
Second you need to shutdown any other protection (virus protection, spyware protection, etc) you have temporarily while you install it. They sometimes interfere and can corrupt the install. Also, before you install save it to desktop first, then run adaware as an administrator.
If you are talking about bypassing administrator privileges, I'm sorry, but LS can not recommend bypassing a system's security features.

I was signed on as the administrator when trying to do the install....didn't work..

anyway, lost the disk trying to resize a partition, so I am doing a new install....thanks anyway
