I run Adaware, it finds 28 problems. But I can't get it to do anything with them. It won't delete them, it won't quarantine them, nothing. My only choice, is to hit "allow them".

This software totally blows. I had Adaware 2005 before this, and it worked fine.

Any ideas?

What is your operating system?

Can you post the log from your scan results?

Please post your Ad-Aware scan log so I can see what objects are being found.

Logs are stored in (windows xp) :
C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Lavasoft\Ad-aware\Logs

The name of the file will be similar to this: Ad-Aware 20080405 12-37-33.log Be sure to get the one that ends with .log extension.
and open it; right Click; select all
copy and then paste the contents of it here.

Note: As the "Application Data" folder is a hidden file by default in windows, make sure you have configured your PC to show hidden files

Assuming you are on Windows XP
Click Start.

Open My Computer.

Select the Tools menu and click Folder Options.

Select the View Tab.

Under the Hidden files and folders heading select Show hidden files and folders.

Uncheck the Hide protected operating system files (recommended) option.

Click Yes to confirm.

Click OK.

FYI - we didn't have an Ad-Aware 2005 version.
