I'm coming in late on this upgrade info.

I've used Personal SE.

Please give EXACT steps to get 2007 downloaded on WinXP OS.

For example, do I need to UNinstall the old one, FIRST?

Do I download to the Desktop, like I did when getting the SE file?

Do I just "over write" the SE?

OR... do I put the 2007 in a different C:/ path folder?

Just please be as specific as possible about the actual steps... I always get mixed up with uninstalling, reinstalling, updating files... so ....

Download and install Windows Install Clean Up ( WICU by MS ).
>Uninstall SE
>Run WICU and delete all SE references if there.
>START/RUN - type 'cleanmgr' - checkmark Temp.Files/Temp.Internet Files/Recycle Bin- run
>start a windows search for SE leavings and delete them manually,if there
>reboot

<disable your security software during download an install of AAW2007/2008 ( starting today)
