I have Ad-Aware 6.0, V 6.181, the FREE version and have questions about extension and plug-ins.
According to the HELP menu, all versions (incl.free) can add ext's & plug-ins, but I see no option to do so in the version I have.
The last line says, "You can read about future, and download recent Plug-ins and extensions from a growing list on our website..."
Would you please tell me where I might find that information, since I've gone to the Main website and have not seen anything...perhaps, me blind today...
Also, if items are "quarantined," does this mean they should stay in the quarantine file forever? Are they now blocked from my entering computer? If I erase them, what are the consequences.
Also, what does the entry "VIRTUAL BOUNCER" in Quarantine file mean?
Also, there are many "tracking cookies" in Quarantine. Does this mean they have been deleted and does your software then, prevent these same sites from setting new cookies?
Bottom line, I guess: Where can I get a complete, understandable explanation for the entries in Quarantine?
