I am currently running the updated AdAware 2007 Free on a windows XP system. During the scan AdAware crashes at the point where it attempts to scan layered service providers (LSP) where it encounters an error and needs to close. By this time it has picked up 51 bad files that upon crash point are detected but not removed. I have noticed on the forum others with this same problem, though they are running the pro version which allows them to custom scan and remove the bad LSP scan. This is not an option for free users and bypassing LSP's is not an option. I have never had problems with any previous versions of AdAware and im quite shocked by the apparent lack of support.. I have always rated lavasoft previously for the applications available free to use, until now.. If this is a known issue for the new 2007 application why has this not been rectified in updates and why is there no option for free users to bypass this scanning point ? If there isnt support for free users to bypass this only those who have paid (and still get the problem) why is AdAware 2007 even offered for free use ?

I would really appreciatte a member of the lavasoft team to reply to this post..
