I have ad aware se plus 1.06r1 installed on windows xp/home edition
I have done a complete disk/system scan and nothing has been reported
I have a personal firewall installed and this is indicating that a system process is trying to access the internet at specific address
This address/port changes at each new prompt. I do not allow this connection
doing nslookup of this ip address does not return any result
Is it possible to find out which process is trying to get to the internet and how to get rid of this ?
would a scan in safe startup mode help ?

The SE version has exipired at 12.31.2007 and it won't not longer supported.
Pls try an upgrade to AAW2007 PLUS.
