The problem is simply this. Ad-Aware 2007 simply refuses to uninstall. When I try to uninstall, the process begins but then I get this:
Error 1316. A network error occurred while attempting to read from the file: C:\Program Files\Common Files\Wise Installation Wizard\WISDED53B0BB67c4244AE6AD6FD3C28D1EF_7_0_2_3.MSI
I have already tried stopping the Ad-Aware 2007 service via services.msc but that did not resolve the issue.
How do I get this software off of my system? Running Vista Home Premium SP1.
