Hi,

Please can someone help with this problem i'm having, when i click open programs or internet windows i get a pop up stating i'm infected with an unknown trojan it's dangerous for the system critical files can be lost and then goes onto say click ok to download anti spyware to clean your system now.

I've searched the usual folders and ran Norton and adaware but cannot find this file that keeps running.............please help!!!

Running Windows vista premium, norton security 2008 adaware free version at the moment due to serial probs.....they are currently sorting this out.

Pls download and install HijackThis from TrendMicro's.
Run a scan and copy/paste the logfile in your next reply.
I'll move your post to the appropriate forum.

Thanks for getting back to me, I was trawling through some of the forums on here and noticed a posting exactly like mine. So i've just followed the instructions on there and hey presto! it's now gone
