I had to do a system restore to a point prior to installation of Adaware 2007 and Adwatch (was this a seperate download - I can't remember?). I downloaded Adaware 2007 again but near the end of the installation process I get the error message "Error 1920- Service 'aawservice' failed to start ". I've subsequently discovered a load of previously installed software in C:\Program Files (including a Lavasoft folder).

1) Do I need to do a new download and if not, how do I reinstall the software from the C:\Program Files stuff?
2) How do I resolve the Error 1920 problem.
3) Will this also get Adwatch back as well?

Any help much appreciated.

Since my earlier post I've noticed that the Adaware icon has appeared in the system tray and a text box appears saying that a scheduled scan is in progress when the cursor is placed over it. The process AAWTray.exe also appears in task manager. I'm now very confused!!
