As this guy posted earlier,

the core.zip file works .. when you installed the program if you clicked all users .. the path that you need to put the core file in is C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Lavasoft\Ad-Aware 2007 -- not the program directory like the help file says in the program .. you can also double check this by clicking the settings of webupdate .. and it shows the path .. laugh.gif

Do what he says and your definitions file will update itself correctly. Thanks brian29.

Yes, this advice works for Windows XP users but for Vista users it more like this C:\ProgramData\Lavasoft\Ad-Aware 2007. I learned this due to the use of Ad-Aware Personal SE which is a little different C:\Users\"Computer Name"\appdata\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files\Lavasoft\Ad-Aware SE Personal or type appdata then follow from there Local\VirtualStore\Program Files\Lavasoft\Ad-Aware SE Personal. Will I hope this helps someone.

Ad-Aware SE has been discontinued, thats why updates don't work for Ad-Aware SE.
the current problem is with Ad-Aware 2007.
