Hi folks,

I just added the 2007 Ad-Aware free software. I had the original versions and never had problems. I've recommended the software to others and now mine will not finish. I get to step 2 with no options but to X out. I lock around 290,000 files scanned and then when it goes into scanning folders (conditional) it just stops and the time just passes for hours with no change. The overall scan progress is around 80% and the Section progress is at 100%. It did show 29 infections! These were of the cookie types, maybe a JS/downloader agent I thought it might be my Norton Antivirus which did cause some problems when I hooked up to high speed internet. I unistalled it and noticed that my computer did boot up faster and I saw an increase in the number of files Ad-Aware scanned before it hit the 80%/100% mark mentioned above(70,000 more files). Does anyone have an idea what I need to do to remedy the problem or is there some glitch in the software that may be causing this? Any help would be appreciated!

please open AAW2007 and post a screenshot from the 'Scanning'tab.
Or tell me you settings in written.
