Hi,
My computer has recently been displaying various problems. It started by not allowing me to access any websites as if I wasn't connected to the internet. Although I installed Firefox and this works without any problems at all. Also I noticed that my copy of AVG had disappeared from the computer (although there is a slight possibility it was removed by someone else) I managed to re-install it and run a virus scan, which picked up nothing at all. I also ran my updated version of Adaware but this didn't do anything to help solve the problem. I have since developed a problem with downloading new programs such as Winzip and even HijackThis. I have had to download everything on another computer and save it to CD to transfer it across.While running HijackThis i had 2 error messages appear, one said

"System denied write access to the Hosts file. If any Hijacked domains are in this file, HijackThis may not be able to fix this."

The Second said

"An unexpected error has occurred at procedure: modMain_CheckOther1Item()
Error #75 - Path/File access error
