Since downloading the latest software my computer has been slow, and in addition to that, when it starts scanning folders- it stops. The total objects scanned stops at 121,862. The hour glass remains so I cannot close out. So far I have 102 infected objects which I would like to get rid of. What is the solution to this problem?

I had to go into "settings" and change it to 10000 or it won't run. Anything more than that, it comes to a complete stand still. Several others have reported the same thing.

Pls go to setting / scanning tab -
enable file skip and change the value to 30.000/ 10.000 could be safe too.
