Has anyone experienced what I did yesterday? There was a program update, but not a definition file update. After I agreed to accept the update the install seemed normal, but on startup I got a popup offer to get the pro version free if I bought Valentine's day flowers. I declined and today the program opened only the splash screen and stopped running. I had to use XP's program manager to shut it down. Using the program's update manager module accessed from the program grouping in XP's program listing did not help.

I posted details of this problem on Feb. 9th.- but so far no solution offered. Am regularly being offered Software Updates (GUI etc.) which when accepted seem to download - but then Ad-aware gets fouled up and will not open. I have had to uninstall and re-install - This has happened to me twice so now I just ignore these updates.
