I recently purchased Ad-aware2007 Plus Lavasoft Personal Firewall. I understood this to be a complete pc protection package, however was immediately infected by a virus. Upon scrupulous examination of this website, I found some fine print that allows that it is only two parts of the necessary protection. Fooled me, expecially since the price is in the ballpark with other antivirus/firewall softwares that do provide everything you need. (I purchased after using free Ad-Aware for a while, was so pleased with that I decided to go with the "package".)
You should be much more explicit in the wording of your sales page, state clearly and up front that the "package" is not complete protection. Now Roadrunner has disabled my connection, and I am effectively stalled, probably with a pile of trash instead of a cpu.
I am not a computer wizard geek, simply a home pc surfer and emailer, trying to do the right thing in a very complicated e-world.
So, where do I go from here?
