Have downloaded twice from different sites LavasoftFirewallInstall2.0_x64_30days for my VISTA 64 bit operating system. Each time I tried to run the setup file I get first:

LAVASOFT PERSONAL FIREWALL SETUP
ODBC was not found on your computer
Warning! Without ODBC ............
www.agnitum.com/support/odbc.html
Continue without ODBC

When I enter the link for the web site provided @ www.agnitum.com/support/odbc.html I can not find support information for VISTA 32 or 64. So I continue on and click Next hoping for the best then:

X RUNTIME ERROR (at 69:334)
Access viloation at address 027C2565

then 14 different warnings advising

! Windows requires a digitally signed driver

After reading this forum I see others have had compatability problems with VISTA. Is my problem unique or is Lavasoft releasing programs that do not work?
Have use Adware SE for a long time in past for free and it worked great and Lavasoft was always rated highly. Now I wish to purchase a product I have serious issues. I note that Lavasoft only offers technical assistance to paid members. Good thing free trials exist, you try (and they work), you like, you buy. Unfortunately for me, not alot out there for VISTA 64. So, can anyone help or suggest good firewall for me? Thanking you.

adaware free 2007 does not run with Vista 64 either - but the now discontinued personal SE does - lets have it back!
