when i try to uninstall adaware se i get a could not open install log file. what exactly is wrong and how can i fix it so i can uninstall adaware se properly. really freaking me out.

i just downloaded the se recent install exe but all that does is put 2 programs on the list and when i try to uninstall one of them, the other one still messes up.

Please see this Ad-Aware SE FAQ: I am unable to uninstall my Ad-Aware SE. I receive a message saying, "Can’t find Install.log."

Before rebooting at the end of the process, click on "Start > Run" and type in cleanmgr then hit Enter.

Clean out any leftovers found before rebooting.

Post back with how you get on.
