I used to use Ad Aware SE, but upgraded to 2007. I use Firefox. Tracking cookies are detected but not deleted. I check the boxes and click remove and they are deleted from the screen, but they aren't deleted from the hard drive. If I rerun the scan, they're back - I have to manually delete them. mad.gif

Is there a fix for this?

I am having similar problems - and more. I use Windows XP with IE6.

The first time I did a scan it got half way through then sat with the timer on and I had to close down the programme (with 78 identified infections).

The second time the scan finished ok but I cannot remove privacy objects (there are no critical objects). I check the box/es but nothing happens and if I try to Finish I get the message 'there are unhandled objects - do you wish to continue'. I have ended up closing without anything beng removed (sorry I don't know how to remove manually).

Any suggestions please?

Had similar problem - cookies not even detected! Spy Sweeper picked 'em up and dealt with them.

Following updating difficulties and then this, I have unistalled Ad-Aware 2007 and now rely on Norton Online Security(!) Quick Sweep at start of session and Spy Sweeper Quick Sweep at end + regular full scans.

Not really a solution using Ad-Aware but you are not alone.
