I Have an HP DV9225 laptop. It Has windows Vista Ultimate Installed. It has an Amd Turion 64 x 2 processor in it. Adaware 2007 free version apperas to run, but never goes past the scanning registry, and guid scanning process. It wil continue to run, but never goes past thet part.

Same problem with different model DV6661SE but otherwise same system and OS, CPUs, etc. Hangs in the same spot.
2 Gigs mem.

Thanks for the reply. I was not aware that adaware did not have a version that supports vista (64 Bit)....sarrow
