You're not the only one!

I had had the original 2007 for quite some time, and one day, after I updated, the whole program "crashed" about 3-5 months ago. I noticed it "stopped" on something called a "rastapi.dll" and it has also stopped on an "inprocserver32", and others as well when it wouldn't go any further. I have uninstalled, reinstalled, over and over and over and over for the last 4-5 months, and I get this problem EVERY TIME. '
And, it makes NO DIFFERENCE WHICH SCAN YOU CHOOSE!
Each time, I send the "crash report", but apparently, nothing happens!
I have e-mailed Lavasoft several times, but not only did the problem continue, but I NEVER received an answer from them!
I use Lavasoft for the data miners, which will slow any computer down. The problem is that when the program crashed, I had at least 7 infections, but I could never get to them, because of the crash.
I'm EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED that I have never heard anything, nor have I seen anything on this problem!
So, you are NOT the only one, and I have DL SEVERAL versions over the last 4-5 months, and it STILL happened!
If there is anyone in Lavasoft who can help us, or answer the questions as to what is going on, I'm asking AGAIN, please let us know!!!!
The crash information is horribly long, but here is the first of it.
Prior to this it says:
"aawservice.exe has unfortunately experience an unhandled exception and was forced to close.
Please submit this error and we will endeavor to solve this problem as soon as possible."
"An unhandled exception occured at 0x1004E711 in aawservice.exe
Exception Code : 0xc0000006
From this, there is a ton of information that unless one is a programmer, one wouldn't understand any of it.
OK, Lavasoft, you're on! Let's hear from you as to what's wrong!!!!

I have a problem with Ad-Aware 2007 (Vers. 7.0.2.5) in connection with the latest definition file and a WinXP Home system.
Ad-Aware crashes during "Smart Scan" / cookies scan.
This problem appears to be connected with the latest definition file (Vers. 41.0). I made a test deleting the definition file (core.aawdef) and using the previous definition file (Vers. 40.0). Everything was running fine. Also, I never had such problems with earlier versions.
Deleting and downloading the new (Vers. 41.0) definition file another time does not help, I have the same crash problem again.
It seems that something is wrong with the definition file (Vers. 41.0) on the Lavasoft server.
