Hello,

Now that Lavasoft is going to make Ad-aware SE obsolete are there any updates yet for Ad-aware 2007 which will work with 64 bit version of Windows Vista?

As at the moment the only version I can run is the SE edition.

Cheers.

SE Pro & SE Plus aren't "obsolete" - YET - only the free SE is obsolete.
Spybot S&D you could have run alongside SE any time...!

As to 64-bit Vista... unsure.gif

Hi levig,

Sorry for the late reply - I have been on holiday with family from overseas smile.gif

If you have managed to get AAW SE to work with Vista 64 (not certified as either Vista compatible or compliant - kudos to you), then you can for now manually download Defs from here:

Download and unzip to the usual path (from memory: C:\Program Files\Lavasoft\Ad-Aware SE\ - make sure that you have deleted the existing Defs file first, or accept the "overwrite" message.

Not sure how long this download location will be available for Free users.

Regards,

Spike
