My renewal license key worked on my desktop, but does not validate on my laptop. I need help.

I was using Lavasoft Ad-Aware SE PRO with Ad-Watch until the other day.
I didn't even know that one could renew the license key anymore since I though Lavasoft where to discontinue these versions in favour for Ad-Aware 2007.
Therefore I bought the Ad-Aware 2007 PRO version with Ad-Watch the other day.

I noticed a new "feature" from Lavasoft when registering the product:
Each license key is uniquely created for each computer and a uniquely Hardware fingerprint is also created from your computer,
meaning that you cannot use the software on different machines and you cannot even use it on the same machine if you change the hardware!

I don't know if your problem could be related to this but maybe Lavasoft has decided to use this "feature" on all versions...
and in that case it could explain your problems.

If you are using a licensed version you should be able to send an email to their support and get help.
I am new to this forum but wouldn't expect to get an answer from Lavasoft here since I don't think they help people via the forum anyway.
