I have tried for weeks to update my SE plus to 2007 without success. Lavasoft requires serial number which is supposedly on the envelope the cd came in (I have store bought version). My envelope only has a red sticker telling me I have to register at support - it has no serial number. The cd has no number on it either. Could I have a copy that has no serial number? Only other alternative is I tossed it in the trash. Any ideas?

Hi,
AAW SE Plus & Pro had a separate Registration form for accessing the Support Center (from where you would renew your annual license or download AAW 2007).
Had you registered at the time of purchasing your Retail Boxed Product, this is what your Support Account would have looked like:

Hi I was wondering if you could help me also. I have been using Ad-Aware SE plus since 2005, and back then there was no registration code, that I know of. When I try to log into the support page here on lavasoft's site, it comes back and says my email address is not located in their database, but if I go over to element5's website, I have no problem getting into their site. So I'm not sure if there is anyway that I can possibly update, but if I could that would be great.

Hi- I've also been using SE Pro since 2005 and also want to upgrade to 2007 - i don't have a password to login to customer support. Says it doesn't recognize my email address however - i ordered on-line and receive promotions from Lavasoft.
Can you help me?

I am also in the same boat. Have been using SE pro for several years and would like to upgrade. The upgrade website doesn't recognize any email addy I have ever used. Any help you could give would be much appreciated.

Hi Chuck,
I have sent you a PM also - however, there is another option that I should have posted above.
You can register a different email address (and be sent a new password) to regain access to the Support Center by completing the two-step "Changed Email" form
here at the LS website.

I bought my AdAware SE Plus online (Element 5)and have not been able to login (doesn't recognize my email address) to update. I have a copy of my receipt, but not of my license key.

I am also a Ad-Aware SE Plus user. I have the same problem as jryk. I purchased SE Plus from Element5. I now would like to upgrade to 2007. Please help.

Did you see the special registration form for those customers who bought their product in a store (boxed copy).
This is different than if you purchase it online

I am a very Old Time Registered User of AdAware Plus.
I got it direct from AdAware years and years ago, back when there were no serial numbers; you'd get an email
with a login and password to the site where you could then download the latest version. You had to wait for that email direct from AdAware!
So anyhow, months ago, when 2007 was first beta'd, I sent multiple emails to AdAware telling them I was a registered Plus user, and I have no
serial number. Got no reply's... And the early versions of 2007 had problems, so since I wasn't reciving answers to my emails, I just kept
using my old reliable SE + version.
Now AdAware is approaching me with emails suggesting that I upgrade. Still don't have a serial number (as my multiple emails would attend: Had anyone answered them.
This week I get an email indicating that my Beloved AdAware SE Plus will EXPIRE SHORTLY.
I certainly hope that this means that program as it is, will still run, just won't update with newer definations.
I can't upgrade, I don't have a Serial Number, Even though I bought it directly from Lavasoft, and have sent multiple emails to them asking how to proceed.
If I leave.... It won't be because I didn't try and warn you!!!

So glad to have found this fourum, I purchsed Ad-aware SE Plus in 2005, from Best Buy in Glen Burnie, MD, I don't know where the
registration information is, I have moved since then 200 miles away. I would really like to upgrade to 2007. Is there any hope for me.

Just downloaded 2007 and can find no place to register the serial. Also the download says corrupt instalation detected, check sourse media or redownload. Where do I do this, and is norton the scoundrel? I did a check with norton and it said no corruption was detected. Help!

Customers with a valid Ad-Aware SE license can update their software to Ad-Aware 2007 through the Lavasoft Support Center.
All license updates to 2007 have been automatically extended to cover the update delay.
Note: If your Ad-Aware SE license has expired you will not be able to update.
You will have to purchase a new license from our webshop.
To update your product, log-in to the Lavasoft Support Center and open the 'License Info' page.
Click the 'Update License to Ad-Aware 2007' button below your valid license to update your license and retrieve your Ad-Aware 2007 serial number.
The serial number will be sent to you in a separate email.

Our firm has been using Ad-Aware SE Professional Edition (25 users) since December, 2004. Have Order #, but no registration/serial no. Would like to update to Ad-Aware 2007. Am not able to login to the Support Page--does not recognize my e-mail address. Could you also send me whatever I need to update. Will I be able to download a new version and install on all 25 machines or will I have to go through the update process on each machine?

As to how you should best manage the update across all 25 machines, contact Support with your details - as a licensed user, you are entitled to paid, one-on-one Support.
